When trying to load pre-generated templates for template-based particle picking in live, under the new 5.0.1-beta, it failed with a message saying that “the job must be from a 2D classification”.
This is new to me as the old version has two options: “Load” or “Load from streaming 2D”, whereas the new beta only has a “Load” button. I have tried detaching the same project and attached to an older version of cryosparc (4.7.1+), and the same templates (generated by “create templates” job) finished without any issue.
Thanks @chen12 for the report.
The push of which button triggers the error message?
Please can you also post a screenshot of the error message, along with some background that illustrates the postion of the message within the UI.
There is only one button “Load” in the GUI. I’m attaching the screen caps comparing the new beta-5.0.1 vs. 4.7.1+. In the old version there are two options.
I can try it again later (currently running another processing project on the GPU server), but when I click “Load” with the project and job number pointing to the templates (from “create templates”) within the same project, it refused to load the templates and said something like this action requires 2D classification jobs.
I have the same problem. Where on v4.x I could load templates from Create Template jobs instead of just from 2D Classification jobs, it now gives an error when pointing created templates. It also refused to load templates from a Select 2D job, though that is less of an issue since it provides a selection tool upon loading 2D classes.
