Blob picker should output templates (feature request)

Hi,

Blob picker generates and uses templates, but does not save them. Would it be possible to output them? This would allow, for example, using multiple elliptical templates in a subsequent job, rather than the single one that blob picker generates.

EDIT:

Also, I notice that blob picker has an angular sampling option, which defaults to 5 degrees. This makes sense for elliptical templates, but circular and ring shaped template are radially symmetric - perhaps it should default to no angular sampling in these cases, for speed?

Hi Oli,

Thanks for the request, we will add the option to output templates in an upcoming update. As for angular sampling, we will stick to the current option for simplicity of the code.
