Auto Thresholds in Workflows

Hi CryoSPARC Team,

Would it be possible to have Auto Thresholds added as an option to some jobs when applying a workflow to a workspace? Currently when Curate Exposures, Select 2D classes, and Inspect Particle Picks are included in the workflow there is no option to input Auto Thresholds, whereas Auto Thresholds are included when manually creating the job cards in a workspace.

Cheers!

Hi @ahowes,

This is currently possible, but you will need to configure your workflow for these parameters to appear when using it.

When you are initially constructing your workflow, only custom parameters for the selected jobs will be shown for the corresponding jobs in the workflow. In order to show other parameters for those jobs when using the workflow, they have to be manually set to visible.

You can modify a workflow by following these steps: Modifying a Workflow.

Once you have opened the dialog for modifying a workflow (or in the dialog for creating a new workflow) you will need to navigate to the job for which you would like to expose the auto threshold parameters.

In the “Parameters” section for the job, you can switch the “Custom/All” toggle to “All” to see every parameter available for the job. From here, you can find the parameter you would like to have access to and click the “Eye” icon to set the parameter from “Hidden” to “Visible” (the icon will also turn green when it becomes visible). You may also set a default value for the parameter, this will set the parameter to visible automatically.

Now that you have toggled the parameter to “Visible” it will be available when you are using the workflow.

Thank you very much Kelly for explaining the steps in more detail, I was able to find how to toggle these parameters to visible.
