Please add an option to use or create a symmetry expanded set of particles to the local refinement job - without this it is unfortunately only useful for asymmetric particles. I tried importing a symmetry-expanded set of particles created in relion from cryosparc output, but cryosparc cannot recognize the orientation information and throws an error.

Alternatively, would it be possible for cryosparc to retain orientation information when importing from a star file?

We are working on a major new pipeline for general multi-part refinements that will cover symmetry expansion as a special case. For now though we will add pose import for .star files!
