Hello CryoSPARC users!
We have updated the job page on ab initio reconstruction to provide more detail about the impacts of various parameters in that job.
We have also added a detailed explanation of both Branch and Bound and Stochastic Gradient Descent to this page. These algorithms are both used throughout CryoSPARC, so a deeper understanding of how it works in ab initio reconstruction will help users understand CryoSPARC refinements in general.
As this is typically the first 3D job a user ever runs, we hope that this improved documentation makes the jump to the third dimension smoother!
