Ab-initio only creates one class

Hi all,

I just came across this problem that when I am using ab-initio reconstruction, even if I put 3 or 4 as the number of classes, it only creates one class, with other input as default.

Could it be the issue of the old version? I am using v4.1.1.

  • box size: 512 pix

  • particle number: ~381,000

  • pixel size: 0.8 Å/pix

  • Protein: filament

Hi @JL0333!

Did you by chance set the number of classes by clicking the arrows inside the input box (i.e., you did not type a value into the box)? We have seen reports that setting the parameters using the browser’s arrow buttons results in that setting not being applied properly.
